Carlow Golf Club

The Club was founded in 1899. The course is naturally free draining and ensures that you will not be disappointed with the course condition no matter what time of the year you wish to play. The Club has to to offer the visitors the opportunity to play either of two courses; the Championship 18 hole Deerpark course and the new 9 hole (Par 35) Oakpark Course which opened in 2002. Carlow Golf Club is one of the finest inland courses in Ireland, and is an excellent challenge for golfers of all standards. It has hosted such prestigious tournaments as the 2002 Irish Close Championship and the 2005 World One-Arm Championship, as well as being the home of Ireland's oldest scratch cup, the Midland Scratch Cup.
