It all started when the Birmann Family purchased a dairy farm and moved to Greenville with their 3 children. The rest is history. Now a USGA rated 18-hole golf course, being one of the area’s only island greens, Walter J. Birmann spent the past 70 years designing around the Mother Nature, creating an unparalleled golfing experience for the public, hotel guests, and members. With five sets of tees catering to each individual golfer’s skill and experience level, the hilly terrain is popular with both walkers and riders alike.
