First Tee—Greater Philadelphia manages the John F Byrne Golf Club to provide affordable access to golf and life skills education for the kids in northeast Philadelphia. First Tee saved the course from permanently closing for good so that kids and the community can be best served. Having a facility where students and golfers have access 364 days a year is paramount to enhance learning, skills, and recreational resources for people of all backgrounds.

John F. Byrne Golf Club has gone through some major upgrades since 2019. Our clubhouse has gone through a major renovation project and opened its doors in 2022. We have also went through a cart path project, irrigation system installation and much more. Come check us out!
