Moor Park Golf Club

Martin Fagan and family retained the services of Irelands most renowned course architect Eddie Hackett to design Moor Park Golf Club. Measuring 5,607 metres with a Par 72 and a standard scratch of 69 off the blue stakes the ladies course is somewhat shorter at 4,784 metres with a Par 70 and a standard scratch of 69. Moor Park is a challenging round of golf for most of us maybe not so much for the single figure golfer. Located on one of the highest points in the Royal County, where the historic Hill-of-Tara (home of Irelands High Kings) is a backdrop to many of the hole. The course features five man-made lakes making club selection a priority on this fine golf course. The facilities are basic, but reliable sources informed that the short term plans are for a new clubhouse and practice area. The visitor is always made feel very welcome at this course just outside Navan Town.
