Old Fort Golf Club


Established in 1985, Old Fort Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf facility owned and operated by the City of Murfreesboro. The par 72 layout is located along the banks of the Stones River, and adjacent Fortress Rosecrans, a historic earthen fort used during the Civil War. Old Fort plays a challenging 7,086 yards from the back tees, but with 6 sets of tees the golf course is fun and enjoyable for all. Regarded as one of the top public golf courses in the state, Old Fort has the privilege of hosting a number of championship events. It is currently one of the courses selected to host the Korn Ferry Tour's Simmons Bank Open Qualifier. In addition, Old Fort hosts a number of other championship events such as Collegiate Tournaments, USGA Boys and Girls Junior Amateur Qualifiers, Tennessee Golf Association, and Tennessee PGA Section tournaments.
